1. Unofficially, about 3 years. We just got the "official" stuff going.
2. Because my husband and I have each had separate and joint experiences. He's a hypersensitive, so he's had many more than I. We KNOW there's something after this existence, we want to understand it.
3. The EMF...closely followed by the cameras, infrared and still
4. From Dusk 'Til Dawn
5. Yes...but more likely they get confused with angry spirits, mental illness, and people seeking attention (I'm always looking for the "scientific" explanation).
6. Orbs are balls of energy that may indicate paranormal activity. I've had some really great video and pictures. I don't believe they're spirits themselves.
7. Walking around in the dark
8. Getting that really great photo, EMF spike, or when you're touched by a spirit.

NAME: Christopher Bohar
ORGANIZATION: Northampton County Paranormal Research & Investigation Team (NCPRIT)

1. I originally began in the spring of 1998 in a local cemetery at the age of 13. In July of that year I founded the NCPRIT along with fellow ghost hunter Geoffrey Comer. For over 7 years now I have been investigating the paranormal. My group now consists of dozens of members in two chapters and is incorporated as a non-profit organization in the state of Pennsylvania.
2. Like most people I'm interested in life's greater mysteries. The one that has always intrigued me is just what happens to us when we die. I believe that by actively investigating the paranormal that both myself and my group may help to shed some light on this great mystery. By attempting to confirm the existence of ghosts and the spirit realm through our investigations we ourselves may someday be able to answer this great question.
3. My most favorite tool is my own experience. One can spend thousands of dollars on high-tech gear but it is only as good as the person using it. Experience is a tool that cannot be bought but is earned through trial and error and in ghost hunting trial and error is a big part f it. By using the tool of our own experience we can hone our skills to become better investigators and contribute more to the field of paranormal research. As for technological tools I'll have to say that my favorite is my Sony Digital Handycam for it's night-shot feature.
4. A Nightmare On Elm street Part 5
5. I am not a religious person but an agnostic by nature so for me to say demons exist would be taking a huge leap. It is impossible to say for sure. So far I have found no conclusive evidence to suggest that they do exist. Personally I believe demons are an outdated theological explanation for such things as disease and mental illness (i.e. possession cases). Demons are most likely mythological and thus non-existent but then again who knows?
6. I believe the vast majority of alleged orb photos are merely dust and dirt particles or electromagnetic energy. Over the years I have learned to discern between orbs whose cause can be explained through natural phenomenon and those which could possibly be paranormal in nature. Orbs need to be taken with a healthy dose of skepticism as many of these photos are misleading.
7. There is nothing inherently dangerous about ghost hunting. When investigating old and derelict buildings there is the potential to be physically injured. As for the idea that you might be attacked or possessed by a spirit while on a ghost hunt I find it to be highly unlikely. Ghost hunting is a safe practice.
8. The thrill of never knowing what you may find during an investigation. the idea that maybe this investigation is the one where you might finally photograph an apparition or get a really excellent EVP recording. That is what makes ghost hunting so fun and interesting.
